CIBC/United Way Annual HockeyTorunament 2005

On November 26, 2005 we enjoyed CIBC’s 2nd Annual Hockey Tournament for United Way at York University’s Ice Gardens. It was a great day filled with fast paced hockey for the parents starting at 12:30 p.m. and a clown, caricaturist and public skate at 4:45 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. for the whole family. Best of all, this event was completely open to all CIBC staff, all that was required was to cheer your favourite players & teams on!! It was a wonderful way to spend quality time with the family while getting to know the people you work with!!

Gerry McCaughey, our President and Chief Executive Officer, dropped the puck for the first game at 12:30pm and a few words to open the day. All the teams did great on the ice and most especially they did fantastic at raising over $44,000 for this year United Way Campaign.

Congratulations all and many thanks to the countless dedicated volunteers that made our 2nd Annual Event a safe, happy and successful one! Everyone can be VERY PROUD!
